Today, with a well-structured expansion plan, Anjos began its history almost 30 years ago. In a shed of only 250m² in the city of Capitão Leônidas Marques (PR), the founder Claudinei dos Anjos and 4 other employees started to manufacture upholstery, selling at fairs and events throughout the region.
Gradually, the business prospered and grew; even in 1999, when a solder fell on a plastic material and set fire to and destroyed the entire factory. In two years, Anjos got back on its feet. In 2001, it started to manufacture its own foam to meet the demand. At that time the manufacture of mattresses was started, which prospered quickly and revamped the entire business.
• 3 Factories: Captain Leônidas Marques (PR); São Roque (SP); João Pessoa (PB)
• Total area: 33,000 m2
• Number of employees: approx. 600
