School of Rock

School of Rock

School of Rock is a network of music schools with methodology focused on performance, practice and experience. They use music as a tool for personal development.

The network, of American origin and founded in 1998, today has more than 300 open and developing units and 40,000 students worldwide. The courses taught at the school are musical initiation, bass, drums, guitar, keyboard, vocals and band practice. School of Rock has been building a growing community of professionals passionate about music and dedicated to enriching the lives of children , teenagers and adults through music education. With programs specially developed by age group, the school network stands out for its methodology based on the practical application of musical concepts.

The school's performance-based methodology is solidified in the type of teaching called flipped-classroom, in which the student is first exposed to the practice of a certain concept, to later study and understand the theory behind it.

The network believes that this type of teaching is more effective than traditional teaching and brings students faster development, which results in greater engagement and link with the instrument and with music in general. With global expansion through the franchise system, School of Rock plans to enter Europe. The first countries with European operations will be Portugal, Spain and Italy. The passion for music and music education is essential in our business, however, it is also important to understand the financial aspects of our business model, including the average income of a School of Rock franchise.

Our franchisees come from different areas of the market, but are united by a passion for music. Regardless of whether they are experienced entrepreneurs or musicians, they receive the training and guidance they need to maximize the profit potential of their School of Rock franchise. Qualified candidates selected to be franchised will receive a copy of our Franchise Offer Circular, a document that centralizes essential information from all our franchises, including financial information.
